How to add Tellz

• ChatGPT: open Plugins, then Add, then Create custom MCP server. Name it Tellz, enter https://tellz.ai/mcp, choose OAuth and Create as a plugin. Then sign in and choose Allow.
• Claude: open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it Tellz, enter https://tellz.ai/mcp and choose Connect. Then sign in and choose Allow.
• Grok Bot: open the Add to Grok Bot link from Tellz Settings, then choose Allow.

Reads

• Account and coverage: Returns the account's company, industry, city, report language, reader's name and title, followed businesses, report time and coverage.
• Today's brief: Returns the latest or requested brief with its cover and existing report link, ordered for the reader's role.
• Report days: Returns up to 31 report days, newest first, with each day's verdict and counts.
• Brief for a date: Returns the brief for one date, ordered for the reader's role.
• Search everything collected: Returns up to 20 matches for words or a name from everything Tellz collected for this account, including items absent from reports.
• The brief as a story: Returns the day's spoken story for the reader's role: what happened, who posted what and what it shows, in order of importance for that role.
• What a business did: Returns a followed business's collected activity, newest first, with each item's day, words, picture description and source link.
• What you follow: Returns followed names, networks, paused state, news watches, pages and report time, plus the last ten changes.
• Find their accounts: Finds a business's public website by web search and its Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok links on that site.

Changes

• Propose a change: Records a requested change as a proposal and returns its summary for the reader's yes.
• Confirm a change: Applies only a change proposed earlier and approved by the reader.
• Undo a change: Reverses a change within seven days and returns its status.

Changes wait for your yes. A new competitor needs one tap in Tellz because collection adds cost. Undo is available within 7 days, unless that setting has changed again.

What it never does

The connector never posts or messages for you, reads private accounts, changes your plan or billing, or deletes your account.

Anyone holding a report link can open that one report. Missing or turned-off links stay absent from the assistant's brief.

Data and access

An assistant receives the tools' answers: the brief or collected items it requests, their pictures and source links, account context, and the status of requested changes. A PDF is attached only when asked. Emails and keys are excluded. Details are on the Privacy page.

To disconnect, open Tellz Settings, then Assistants, then Disconnect. Access lasts 1 hour and renews for up to 90 days.
